Absolute peace! Welcome
to our 17th Century Family Farmhouse set in the centre of the
tranquil village of Stoodleigh. We run Quoit-at-Cross as a mixed
farm, and welcome guests to
enjoy bed & breakfast with us and share our friendly old
house. We have recently converted two barns which have added two new ground floor dog friendly en-suite rooms. Wake up and enjoy your hearty breakfast in our charming inglenook dining room.with fresh bread and homemade marmalade, a breakfast to set you up for the day! Special diets can be catered for - just let us know, we can also offer farmhouse suppers by prior arrangement or you could visit the local pub The Stoodleigh Inn (please check opening hours) or further affield there are many options for eating out in Bampton and Dulverton. |

We are conveniently situated, only 10 minutes from the A361 (north Devon link road) and A396 Exe Valley Way. Close by there are plenty of interesting places to visit ; Stoodleigh village with its local church, Historic Tiverton, National Trust Houses and Gardens, RHS Rosemoor, the cathedral city of Exeter, coasts and of course wonderful Exmoor National Park. We are also convieniently situated for sport lovers with Sandy Park home of Exeter Chiefs Rugby (M5junction 30) takes 45 mins in car and for Test Cricket enthusiasts The County Ground Taunton home of Somerset County Cricket Club ( M5 junction 25) also takes 45 mins by car . From our highest fields you can see Exmoor, together with panoramic views of the beautiful rolling Devonshire hills. There are many local walks just leave your car here and immerse yourself in the surrounding countryside. Visit the local Badgerwatch and see wildlife so close you can almost touch it! |
