Tiverton - Historic Town Tiverton was once the industrial centre of Devon, mainly fabrics. The fine old merchants buildings in the town remain along with Tiverton Castle, worth a visit, and the canal which has boat trips, horse drawn. Buildings of note include St Peter's Church and the council offices. The town has a small, but busy, shopping centre, with some out of town shops. Local cinema. |

Bickleigh Mill Devonshires Country Living Centre Bickleigh Mill is at the centre of one of the prettiest villages in the Exe valley. Knightshayes
Court Designed by William Burges and begun in 1869, Knightshayes is a rare survival of his work. The rich interiors combine medieval romanticism with lavish Victorian decoration, and the smoking and billiard rooms, elegant boudoir and drawing room all give an atmospheric insight into grand country house life.
